Some star stylists, such as Justine Marjan or Dom Seeley, have already predicted it and stars like Kim Kardashian or Jlo have already worn the trendy hairstyle on the red carpet: upturned tips. Granted – it doesn’t sound super fancy at first, but it is! You’ve definitely seen the hairstyle in one or two photos.

The heart of the hairstyle are of course – as the name suggests – the tips of the hair. These are turned upwards with the help of a curling iron, so that they form a U-shaped curve. How the rest of the hairstyle looks like is completely up to you. For example, you can tie the hair into a strict braid like Kim Kardashian, or you can leave the hair open and create a casual fresh from the hairdresser’s like Bella Hadid.

How to Style Your Trendy Hairstyle

Before you work the tips, you should decide on a hairstyle. If you want to wear your hair in a braid, you should tie it before.

• You need a curling iron with a clip to “hold” the tips.
• Divide the hair into small sections – so you can work on strand by strand.
• Place the curling iron on the lower third of the hair, pull it slightly downwards and only turn the tips of the hair vertically upwards.
• This is how you work every part of your hair.
• Be careful not to hold the curling iron in one place for too long, otherwise you might get an unsightly crease in your hair.

Of course, the hair tips do not always have to be turned up as super accurate as in the video. If you don’t want them to stand up so much, then turn the tips a little bit to the outside. This can also work with a normal straightening iron, for example. This way you can find out if THE trend hairstyle 2020 is something for you at all. For everyday use it would be a bit elaborate, but for a party or special occasion we would definitely wear it.
