Ellie, Sebastian, Amara – among the most popular baby names in Great Britain there are some really beautiful variants. Maybe something for your child?
Which baby names are currently becoming the trend there? The ascending names on name websites provide a good indication of which names are gaining in popularity – and may soon end up in the top 10 of the name registers.
What names do the British like?
The British website Babygaga.com has used this year’s data to determine which first names are among the rising names and may be at the top of the list next year.
Interestingly, there are also many unisex names, i.e. first names that boys and girls can wear. The British are obviously more flexible than the parents in this country. And fantasy fans will recognize a girl’s name that owes its growing popularity mainly to the success of the series “Game of Thrones”: Arya.
We think there are some great first names that are a nice inspiration for all parents looking for a name for their child. Maybe there is something for you!
