Even and fine, instead of pimples and blackheads – this is how many women want their complexion. We introduce you to three methods with which you can clean your pores.
Clogged pores are simply annoying. If the skin produces an excessive amount of sebum, causing the hair roots (hair follicles) to keratinize at the same time, the sebum can no longer drain off properly. A plug forms, which blocks the exit of the follicle channel and blackheads develop. At the same time the sebum accumulates. The pores expand. Once “worn out”, large pores can no longer contract and remain expanded. If the pores become inflamed, pimples on the face are added. That does not have to be!
From peeling to mask – we explain to you step-by-step three effective methods with which you can clean your pores quickly and effectively.
1. Cleaning pores with steam
Effect: A steam bath not only helps against colds, but also against blocked pores. The heat promotes blood circulation, opens the pores and transports sebum and dead skin cells to the surface.
How it works:
- Heat water in a pot and add a few drops of tea tree oil to the water. Herbal tea, green tea or peppermint tea is also an alternative.
- Now bend your face over the pot for about ten to fifteen minutes and place the towel over your head so that the steam cannot escape.
- Then wash the face with cold water, carefully dab with a towel and apply a moisturizer.
2. Cleaning pores with a peeling
Effect: Dead skin cells can be removed with a peeling, the blood circulation is stimulated and the grey haze disappears – the skin can shine again. However, peeling should not be used more than twice a week.
That’s how it’s done:
- Mix healing clay with a cup of lukewarm chamomile tea and apply to the skin in circular movements.
- Let it dry for about ten to fifteen minutes.
- Then rinse off again with cold water (this contracts the pores) and pamper the face with moisturizing care.
3. Cleaning pores with face masks
Effect: Facial masks are a mega effective in the fight against clogged pores. Especially healing earth proves to be one of the top beauty tips against pimples and blackheads and brings oily skin or skin affected by acne back into balance.
How it works:
- Mix seven tablespoons of healing clay with three tablespoons of water to a creamy paste.
- Apply the texture to the previously cleansed face, avoiding the eye area and lips, and allow to dry.
- After about ten minutes, rinse the mask off with cold water and treat the skin.
