Eyelash extensions do not damage natural eyelashes

A good eyelash extension technician is expected to have learned in basic training that you do not apply extensions haphazardly and, more importantly, do not do the same application to every client. Each eye is unique as well as the natural eyelashes of which it is composed. Your techician must therefore, before any extension installation, perform a mapping.

What is mapping?

It is simply an analysis of your eye and eyelashes. This will allow for an extension pose that will enhance the look. If we respect the Mapping and do not put more than 1mm in length in addition to the length of the natural eyelash, we can apply eyelashes for years there will be no risk.

So why often hear it said that extensions damage natural eyelashes?

Quite simply because there is a world between theory and practice …

There are unfortunately still too few well-trained technicians who respect this Mapping. Many of them don’t care about the natural lash and just want to achieve a full, dark look. It is obvious that if we wear extensions that are much too heavy with thick glue dots, this will damage the natural eyelash.

So a word of advice, choose your eyelash technician carefully and don’t stop at the price alone. In fact, qualified professionals in this field do not sell off their services; training, experience and the quality of the products used have an impact and are reflected in their prices. An eyelash extension application that is improperly performed will cause damage to the natural eyelashes which may be irreversible.

An extension pose, Yes! But with obligatory forward look analysis! If all this is combined, you will be able to enjoy your extensions for years without even having to worry about your natural eyelashes, your technician will know how to take care of them.
