We have a recipe that is considered difficult for those who like to make their own care products but can actually be easily prepared: DIY homemade mascara.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons of coconut oil
- 4 teaspoons of aloe vera (in gel form)
- 1 teaspoon of beeswax
- 2 capsules of activated carbon (for black mascara)
- Smallest zip lock bag
- An empty and completely cleaned mascara box
Instructions
- Mix the coconut oil, aloe vera and beeswax in a bowl, Bain-marie style until melted and homogeneous.
- After getting the mixture, add the activated carbon, mix again and get from the fire.
- Pour the mixture into the ziplock bag and cut the bottom with a pair of scissors so that a small hole is formed. Thus, you can empty your mascara into its box more easily.
- Turn off your brush and your mascara is ready.
Tip: If you do not want to use activated carbon, you can make this recipe with cocoa powder. If your skin and eyes are allergic, burning, itching or discharge in your eyes, discontinue use immediately. Like other makeup products, products you make at home have an expiration date, and we recommend that you do not use this mixture for more than 6 months.
