A hair shade that resembles the color of a good burgundy – “Burgundy Hair” means exactly that. We are introducing the trend hair color of this autumn!
We’re seeing red this fall!
Red is one of the trend colors for the coming season, and not just in fashion. The color is also an eye-catcher on the head and is celebrating its comeback on Instagram etc. “Burgundy Hair” is a dark, wine-red shade – a brownish red with a slight purple sheen.
You can’t really imagine the color yet? Think of your favourite red wine and you’ll have the nuance in your head!
Who does the dark red suit?
Actually, burgundy red suits every skin type. And even if the red is rather dark, it is a statement: The tone is striking. Lighter skin types should pay attention to a cool undertone, olive skin types can fall back on a warmer tone.
Very important: The eyebrows should match the hair tone. It’s best to dye it right away!
How do I dye the red color correctly?
The color looks most natural on brown hair that already has a red sheen. Thus, an attachment is not immediately noticeable. If you have light blonde hair, you should opt for a more brownish shade.
There are good colorations that guarantee an opaque result, but a visit to the hairdresser is recommended for the dark burgundy shade. The professionals can put delicate shades and the right contrast to the face. Since red pigments are the hardest to get stuck in the hair and wash out the fastest, professional coloring is an advantage anyway.
The only disadvantage of the trend color “Burgundy Hair”: It has to be colored regularly. A shampoo for colored hair is gentle on the hair, but re-coloring every six to eight weeks is mandatory. But that’s easy to do with a glass of Burgundy.
