From the boxing ring the hairstyle conquered the street style: The Boxer Braids are sporty, casual and stylish at the same time! Here you can find out how the braided hairstyle works!
Originally the Boxer Braids were popular as a martial arts hairstyle, but they boxed their way up to the catwalks …
This is how you style the Boxer Braids
- Comb your hair thoroughly and then use a style comb to draw a center parting up to the neck.
- Divide the hair into two equal parts.
- Tie one strand of hair back so that it does not interfere.
- Right-handers start with the right side and left-handers with the left. Start braiding by dividing a strand of hair from the base of the forehead into three thin strands. Place the right strand over the middle one and then the left strand over the now newly created middle one (classic braiding). Then continue as with the French plait: Peu à peu more hairs are added to each strand and braided in.
- As soon as you have braided up to the neck, you can decide whether you want to tie the braid together at this point already or whether you want to finish it further up to the tips of the hairs. Fasten the braid with a thin hair tie in a matching colour.
- Do the same on the next page. And the fancy Boxer Braids are ready!
- Finally, fix the Boxer Braids with some hairspray.
Tip: Make sure that the braided hairstyle is braided at the same distance from the ear and middle parting.
