How do some women manage to stay slim? We’ll show you five things that make them different when they eat.
1. Water instead of soft drinks
Slim women rarely use soft drinks – and if they do, then the light version. If you want to be thin, you better access water or tea. The water can also be spiced up with a dash of lemon juice, cucumber or mint. The so-called infused water is not only delicious, but also healthy.
2. Fruit and vegetables are the be-all and end-all
Of course, if you want to be thin, you should not eat fatty fast food or sweets. Instead, a lot of vegetables and fruit are on the daily menu – whether raw, cooked, steamed or fried. Incidentally, the German Nutrition Society (DGE) recommends that you consume at least 400 grams of fruit and vegetables in a total of five portions every day.
3. Eat salad as a starter
It also makes sense to always eat a small salad before actually eating. This measure prevents you from getting a second time at the main course, which in most cases is higher in calories than the starter. Basically, salad has a high priority on the diet of slim women.
4. Put on the right snacks
Slim women never carelessly reach into the packet of chips or carelessly eat a bar of chocolate in front of the television. Instead, they focus on healthy snacks, such as nuts or dried fruit. It’s also a good idea to freeze berries or fruit, for example, and use them in a smoothie or as a nicecream. A satiating alternative to sugary ice cream.
5. Sinning every now and then
Yes, feasting is sometimes allowed, because radical renunciation harms the body. For this reason it is important to think of a so-called “cheat day” in the week, when you can have a piece of pizza or chocolate. On the remaining six days, however, slim women pay attention to conscious eating.
