Which woman doesn’t dream of long XXL lashes that make the look perfect? The new microblading for the eyelids makes it possible.
Eyelash-Tattoos: This is the new trend
When it comes to make-up, one beauty product is probably most important to most women: mascara. After all, it gives us a sexy look and makes our short lashes look super long. But what if you didn’t need mascara anymore and woke up every morning with thicker lashes. Too good to be true? No, microblading for the eyelids makes it possible.
The latest beauty trend comes, of course, from the USA. There, many beauty salons already offer permanent make-up for the eyes and apparently they are hitting a nerve with it. Treatment there is already very much in vogue. The “Lash Enhancement Tattoo” works like classic microblading. With the filigree micropigmentation a thin line is drawn on the upper and/or lower lash line. This is supposed to provide optical XL volume of the hairs.
How exactly does the treatment work?
As already mentioned, the technique involves drawing a thin black line on the lash line. This creates a line on the eyelashes, which is so subtle that it is hardly noticeable at first glance. The effect is all the more amazing: by emphasising the root of the lashes, the hairs appear denser, more voluminous and more expressive. A micropigmentation device is used to tattoo the color directly into the skin. As with classic permanent make-up, the colour should last for several years (maximum five). In most cases, this requires a “piercing” about six weeks after the initial treatment.
Which costs must one expect?
We admit: the treatment is not exactly a bargain. Those who only want to get a tattoo of the upper eyelash wreath have to calculate with approximately 750 euros, the lower wreath is approximately 370 euros. But with the prices we assume the American market, where the treatment is already a standard. In German cosmetic studios, the treatment is not (yet) part of everyday life.
