Easter is not Christmas, but family and friends are still happy about small Easter gifts and souvenirs. Pretty ideas for Easter presents.
Easter is not Christmas. But in the meantime many people give their loved ones, especially the children, a little something at Easter. Besides colourful Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies, popular gift ideas include spring flowers, cuddly toys, books, sweets of all kinds and tea or wine. Mugs and cups with funny sayings and motifs and other home accessories such as vases or candlesticks are also often given away.
Among the most popular motifs on Easter gifts are rabbits and chicks. Whether cups, pillows or sweets – there is no escape at Easter, because Easter bunnies are simply everywhere. But we prefer to nibble on them made of chocolate – whether milk or dark chocolate, pure chocolate or with a nougat filling is irrelevant.
Bring anything to Easter brunch?
Those who are invited to an Easter brunch or coffee over the Easter days have a choice of different gift ideas: Many hosts are happy about a small Easter arrangement as a home decoration.
However, this is often too late, because most people decorate their homes before Easter. When Easter Monday is over, flower arrangements and classic Easter decorations are usually quickly put away. With a colourful spring bouquet or a spring flower arrangement you will be right for longer. Because you can leave it and enjoy it even after Easter. Especially when Easter is early in the year and spring is just about to start.
For the Easter brunch you can of course also bring homemade things for the Easter table such as jam, freshly baked rolls, a yeast plait and other delicacies.
What are children happy about at Easter?
Popular Easter gifts for children are still: candy. And the rule here is: the more colourful, the better, but it shouldn’t be too much either. Especially if you hide the sweets beforehand and organise an “egg hunt“, the fun is even greater. A small Easter nest or an Easter basket to collect is also a nice gift idea.
If you want to add a little something on top of that, books, a little game or a cuddly toy are the right choice. But it shouldn’t be too much, because Easter is not a second Christmas – even if some people already celebrate it that way.
